Best Western Montrose Inn

I came here for business and was really pleasantly surprised. The person at the front desk was super helpful and friendly and explained everything. The room was very comfortable and newly renovated. Breakfast was good too! I’ll definitely stay here again. It was clean and relatively quiet.

We stayed one night there. Room was well cleaned, even the bathroom was super clean. No cigarette smell. Breakfast was great compared to other hotels when our stay in Colorado. Bread, cereal, fruits, coffee and juice were there. Great location and well maintained hotel. Would stay again.

Very well managed hotel. Staff are great; and always on top of everything. Even going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Well above average internet for a hotel allowed me to make money online while staying here. Not great or anything; but even good enough for online gaming too. The rooms were clean and freshly renovated (Literally renovated while I am here). A little on the small side; but with everything you need. A more comfortable chair would've been nice; but the existing ones are certainly adequate. The breakfast is about average for the price. The waffle-maker tends to make them dry; so pro-tip; remove the waffles 15 seconds early. The area is nice. Montrose is a wonderful town, with plenty of underrated dining options 5min from the hotel. While the hotel itself lacks any views; the town has a picturesque mountain backdrop. And is also a very short and easy drive to Black Canyon National Park. There is also a state park 20 miles south with spectacular views. As they are transitioning to a Best Western; I think prices will go up. But at least for now; absolutely 5 stars for the price.

I just received the greatest customer service from Chrystal up front! She helped me find locations for local events, asked about my travels and shared about hers. It’s small interactions like that that make you feel nostalgic about traveling back in the day.. kind interactions and genuinely connecting with people. It will be because of her and this interaction that I will make this hotel my primary location for my once a month stay. Thank you!

Nice hotel, enjoyed the week I was there. The rooms are small but in a cozy way. Breakfast is perfectly fine, with hot and cold options. Gym was clean but the water cooler doesn't cool, the pool room was clean. I had to clean the filter in my ac because it had a death rattle, but once I got the sweater made of lint out of the filters it ran quietly and happily. Easy thing to do, kind of worrying the maintenance doesn't stay on that though.

Stayed for 3 nights. If you understand that this is a budget hotel, then you won't be disappointed. Beds were comfortable with plenty of layers of bedding. Pillows were a little firm. TV is humorously small but comes with cable and tons of channels (including movie channels). Shower had tons of pressure and good heat. Towels were soft and not too starched. Location is great, quiet, good access to main, 6700, and Townsend. Did not partake in the breakfast so will not comment on it. Staff were friendly enough. It was less than half the cost of big hotels and worth it. Would stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful 4 night stay. This was so worth the price. The service was great, housekeeping came and straightened our beds daily, gave us new towels and tidied up. I have never seen a hotel do this daily. Everything was clean and we loved our room, it was very spacious. It was quiet and had no trouble sleeping at all. Felt just like being at home! The breakfast could have been better, but for the price we paid I can’t complain.

The hotel was undergoing major renovations during my stay. The whole lobby was torn apart and there were construction scents in the hallways. The room was clean and bright with a very nice new shower, a large TV and a comfortable bed. I was disappointed the room didn't have any place to hang clothing on hangers. I didn't interact with the staff much but the interactions I did have were pleasant enough. I would definitely stay here again after renovations are complete.
